If your current role has as much growth potential as a snowman in a sauna, you’ll melt for what I’ve got in store for you.
This role can be an absolute life-changer.
You’ll start as a broker assistant, working with the Principal Broker.
He is the diamond of the company, loved and admired by the CEO and board, an all-round beautiful human being, very gentle but highly competitive (this hasn’t come from his mouth, but the teams) this guy is legit, he currently has three other assistants, and this role was newly created due to increased growth, once clients come on, they don’t leave,
I can vouch for this. I’ve been a client of this brokerage for over 10 years and cannot fault them.
What I’m trying to say is that you will not only work for but learn from the best in the business.
If you are a sponge, then you will suck up every drop of info and work your way into becoming a broker, where you’ll look at base wages that will make your eyes water with monumental bonuses; it has to be one of the most lucrative careers you could come across.
There is a mapped-out plan if you want to become a broker and are actively encouraged to do this. Imagine completely uncapped earnings; I can’t say it here, but it’s like winning the lottery, ha. Actually, think about that. How would that change your life?
To begin with, you’ll be looking at an 80k package and 5% branch profit bonuses annually whilst you cut your teeth. They also have annual salary reviews.
I should probably add that you are only required to attend the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday; the entire team works from home on Thursday and Friday.
People who have successfully entered the insurance game primarily come from Finance, Banking, Real Estate, or Recruitment; basically, anywhere there is high-level, clean-cut work where you must be on the ball, juggling deadlines and meticulously paying attention to the finer details.
The training is second to none; they excel here. You’ll travel to Sydney for three days to learn the ropes and gain an insight into the company and its values. Then, you’ll have a four-week online block to understand the systems and industry. You’ll then move on to a tier 1 in broking and, if interested, a full-paid diploma.
You’ll work with many clients, from the husband and wife plumbing business to billion-dollar companies.
You don’t need insurance experience; you need the smarts to pick it up, listen, learn and be coachable.
The team is relaxed and has its fair share of giggles, but they get the work done. They are dedicated to extreme levels of customer service, so if you’re lazy, don’t bother hitting me up.
