You’ve probably worked in manufacturing long enough to know the drill.
Someone in an office makes a decision.
Three meetings happen, two committees get involved.
Six weeks later nothing has changed and you’re still dealing with the same problems on the floor.
This isn’t that.
This is a chance to step into a newly created Manufacturing Manager role where your ideas don’t disappear into a black hole.
You’ll be working directly with leadership and leading a team of around 20 people.
Developing future team leaders, improving processes and helping shape the next chapter of one of the region’s most established manufacturing businesses.
And when you identify a better way of doing something?
You can actually do something about it.
For nearly 30 years, this business has been building a reputation as one of the largest and most respected manufacturers in glass and aluminium in the region.
They’ve delivered everything from hospitals and schools through to major commercial developments, Army Barracks, residential projects and landmark local builds.
The work keeps coming.
The business keeps growing.
People genuinely build careers here.
So what will your day actually look like?
You’ll kick things off on the floor each morning.
Run the toolbox meeting.
Set the tone for the day.
Keep production moving.
Remove roadblocks before they become problems.
Support your team and hold people accountable when they need it.
Work closely with Operations to keep jobs on track.
Make sure materials, people and priorities are aligned.
This role exists because the business is investing in stronger leadership.
Because they’re growing and want the right person helping lead the next stage of that growth.
The culture? Professional without feeling corporate.
People stay, ideas get heard and good work gets noticed.
Leadership is accessible.
No politics, no nonsense.
Just good people trying to build a great business.
Here’s what’s on offer.
Real job security, leadership training, professional development.
The chance to build a role your way.
What do you need?
Experience leading manufacturing, production, warehouse or operational teams.
The ability to have difficult conversations when required.
A genuine interest in developing people.
Strong organisation skills.
A calm head under pressure.
A continuous improvement mindset.
You do need to be accountable, organised and coachable.
Simple as that.
Maybe you’re working in a big corporation and you’re tired of needing permission for everything.
Maybe you’re already leading a team and looking for a bigger opportunity.
Maybe you just want to work somewhere stable, professional and growing.
Whatever the reason, this is the kind of role that doesn’t come around every day.
