The first hello.
The friendly voice on the line.
The calm on a busy day.
This position is open because the last person stepped up into a new opportunity within the same business and they’re not the first.
Their General Manager began in this role over a decade ago.
As the new Business Administrator / Receptionist, you’ll be the welcoming presence that makes the front office run like clockwork.
You won’t just be answering phones.
You’ll be the first point of contact for customers and visitors, making them feel welcome and valued from the moment they step through the door or pick up the phone.
You’ll be keeping the reception area and front office organised, tidy, and professional, and you’ll be the one making sure that all the little tasks that keep an office humming happen.
Your days will be varied.
One moment you’ll be greeting customers, answering incoming calls, and routing them to the right department.
Next, you’ll be filing, scanning, or binding documents, taking care of banking runs, or even picking up supplies.
You’ll manage incoming and outgoing post, keep coffee areas clean and stocked, make sure the bins are emptied, and handle those “can you just” jobs that pop up in a busy workplace.
It’s the kind of role where no two days are quite the same, and your ability to adapt will make you the person everyone is grateful to have around.
You’re friendly, professional, and warm.
The kind of person who makes people feel at ease.
You’ll need to be organised, able to juggle multiple tasks, and comfortable switching between them quickly.
If you’re new to administration, that’s fine, we can support you through training as go.
If you’ve been in a reception or admin role before and are looking for a position you can settle into and feel confident in, this is it.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm, with every third Saturday morning from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
You’ll join a team in a family-oriented, progressive business.
As mentioned they have a strong track record of promoting from within, with team members moving into sales, service, and other admin roles.
You’ll enjoy above-award pay, monthly social activities, modern systems, and a culture that wants the best for you.
This is a role where your impact will be felt daily.
You’ll be part of a team that values what you do, supports each other, and actually enjoys working together.
If you’ve got the people skills, the organisation, and the willingness to pitch in wherever needed, we’d love to hear from you.
