Labourers, we’ve got a Tier 1 Civil Project firing up at the RAAF Base Wagga… You in?

We’ll be boots on the ground from Monday 9th Feb (pending base access clearance).

This one’s got 4-5 months of solid work, with potential to extend if additional contracts get picked up.

Here’s the gig:
You’ll be part of a crew prepping for footings and slabs for the new onsite accommodation package. Think:
  • Shovelling, raking, and levelling sand
  • Laying black plastic, placing concrete blinding
  • General site work alongside plant operators
  • Voiding, taping, lifting, shifting, you get the picture, this is hands on, manual work 
What you’ll need:
✔ White Card (must have your card number)
✔ Previous experience on civil or commercial sites
✔ Driver’s licence + reliable wheels (site starts early 6:40am arrival)
✔ PPE: Long sleeves, long pants, steel caps, hard hat, glasses, gloves
✔ Eligibility to get a defence pass

Bonus points for:
  • Posi-track / Skid Steer ticket
  • MR licence
Pay + hours:
  • $39.05 p/h base
  • $58.58 p/h OT (kicks in after 8 hrs in a day)
  • Monday to Friday, 7am-4/5pm
  • Saturday mornings as needed

Heads up:
Pre-starts are on paper for now but moving to an app soon so you’ll need to be phone-savvy.

Drug & alcohol testing? Yep. Random and enforced. If that’s a dealbreaker, don’t apply.

1. Rewards will not be issued if Huntsman Recruiting either currently have an agreement with the referred company or has worked with them previously.

2.Referral Rewards will only be issued for the first placement made with the referred company, there will be no ongoing rewards for that particular company.

3.The referer can only receive payment on one placement per company they refer. They are welcome to submit referrals to multiple companies and collect rewards for each.

4.Permanent hires must be employed for 90 days to validate the reward.

5.Temporary hires must work 160 hours to validate the reward.
