If you’re the type who pulls a sickie every second Monday, close this tab now.
There’s no point moving forward, you won’t last in this role, and we don’t work with people like this.
Still here? Good. You’ve obviously got a bit of go about you and have the type of character we are after.
Forklift Operator / Production Worker.
Battery recycling plant in Wagga. 4 on, 4 off. Two days, two nights, then four days to actually live your life.
Pay is $33.38 to $38.39 an hour, depending on the shift.
PPE supplied and laundered. Showers onsite, so you’re not bringing the day home with you.
The work is straightforward. Forklift, unloading trucks, feeding the line, unwrapping pallets, and moving batteries (some up to 40kg). Full PPE, clean-shaven for the respirator, pre-employment medical, and monthly blood tests. Safety isn’t a poster here. It’s the actual job.
Here’s the bit that matters. This isn’t a dead-end forklift gig. The crew running this place promotes from within. Show up, work hard, show some interest, and they’ll teach you the rest of the plant. People have moved into leading hand and supervisor roles from this exact spot.
What we need from you is simple:
Current forklift licence, you’re cool with the roster. And you turn up when you’re rostered, every time.
If that’s you, hit apply and we’ll have a chat.
