Right, let’s not do the dance.
This isn’t a “dynamic opportunity in a fast-paced environment” or whatever else you’re sick of reading.
This is a real job, where the maintenance function actually matters.
A lot.
We’re after someone who knows what they’re doing.
Someone who’s led maintenance teams before, preferably in manufacturing, and who knows how to balance the practical with the strategic without getting lost in either.
Someone who’s not just fixing things when they break, but building a system that prevents the breakdowns in the first place.
You’ll take ownership of all maintenance activity across their Riverina-based processing site, as well as providing input to key projects at the Company’s other manufacturing sites.
That means running shutdowns, staying on top of compliance, managing the budget and keeping safety sharp.
There’s no hiding behind spreadsheets here.
You’ll be visible, hands-on, and fully in charge.
The team?
Solid. Cohesive. Sitting at about seven to eight people, including an apprentice.
They’re ready for a leader who knows what good looks like.
Especially when it comes to automation and electrical and can bring that next layer of capability.
You’ll report to the Engineering Manager who’s supportive, non-prescriptive, and values people who think independently.
From January through Easter, they run 24/7, so you’ll need to be flexible and willing to roll up your sleeves when it matters.
You’ll be coming with a trade background and at least five years managing maintenance in a busy environment.
You’ll be strategic when it counts, tactical when it’s needed, and emotionally switched on with your people.
We’re not looking for flash.
We’re looking for leader who’s ready to rally their troops.
What’s in it for you?
For starters, the salary is seriously competitive for the region, and it reflects just how important this role is to the business.
You’ll be stepping into a senior management role with one of the most respected names in Australian wine.
You’ll work directly with decision-makers, have a seat at the table, and the backing to get things done.
Sound like the kind of role you’ve been holding out for?
Let’s talk.
I’m Kaitlin Flagg — reach out on LinkedIn and I’ll walk you through it.
